No, they're solidly in second place behind Costa Rica. But a loss here and next match away to Mexico could be bad news.

Beautiful heel by Dempsey and Specter's low driven cross was magic. USA unlucky not to score. Casey was a fraction too early or the goalie was a fraction too good.

LOL, boy did we see that differently. I think it was very nice. It needed to be thrown up high. USA has a major height advantage in this match. There's no way he had the leg strength to get that through on the ground (as we saw) |
