I was kind of hoping it was about wingnuts going through something approximating basic training, but alas it is not so.  Sad

This show pits two historical warriors against each other.  In each episode two warriors are selected, and their weapons and techniques are discussed.  Then the two fight a simulated battle to the death to see who is the deadliest warrior.

The nine episodes have featured:

Apache vs Gladiator
Viking vs Samurai
Spartan vs Ninja
Pirate vs Knight
Yakuza vs Mafia
Green Beret vs Spetsnaz
Shaolin Monk vs Maori Warrior
Willaim Wallace vs Shaka Zulo
IRA vs Taliban

It’s not unlike discussing who would win between the ’98 Vikings and the ’66 Packers, or the ’27 Yankees and the ’75 Reds.

I found a couple on youtube.  Pretty cool.  Looks like Viacom or whoever owns it is making a sweep taking them down as fast as they go up.  I wanted to see the Mafia v. Yakuza.

What's even funnier is the geeks discussing the fights.   Grin
