Government Accountability = Anarchy

Madison — As the state agency charged with running elections, the Government Accountability Board can't show favor for Republicans or Democrats.

But is it biased toward anarchists?

The board recently launched a new logo - an A inside a circle - that looks similar to the traditional symbol for anarchy.

But Warwick Seay, owner of the Circle-A Café, 932 E. Chambers St., in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood, said it was odd for a state agency to use the symbol of a political philosophy that shuns government.

"I think it's a strange choice for them. . . . Irony is an overused word, but that's somewhat ironic in this case," said Seay, who goes by the name Warlock.
