fractional scoring
shutout worth more than 10. (more like 14), adjust up/down a bit accordingly
add draft of 1-2 additional defensive individual players per team
points for plays over 10 yards.

I'm ok with those except for "points for plays over 10 yds".  I don't see that as an option.

I'd favor only 1 additional individual defensive player just to keep things simpler.

Anyone for or against any of those suggestions?

1-2 additional defensive individuals for what???  I'm not following that one.

In addition to your Team Defense, you pick an individual defensive player (LB, S, CB, DE, whatever)  That dude gets points for defensive stats:
Sack     1
Interception    2
Fumble Recovery    2
Touchdown    6
Safety    2
Block Kick    2

mmmm.....not sure about this one. Would I get double the points for sacks if I have Jared Allen and the Vikings defense?

I'm not a big fan of individual defensive stuff other than picking a D. YMMV

In my experience, an individual defender is a crap shoot. I say nix the idea.

LOL at my 9% chance of being home on a Friday night in front of the computer.  I guess I could have gotten a babysitter for dinner with the Mrs.  Other than that, I can tab browse my pröñ and still participate.

On topic:
+1 for Flex option
please god no pts per reception
I like the idea of extra points for big games but fine either way
+1 for fractional scoring
I've never played with a defensive player, could be fun.  Not a dealbreaker for me though.
