OKLAHOMA CITIZEN’S PROCLAMATION FOR MORALITY

http://ftpcontent.worldno...KMoralityProclamation.pdf

Sad  Please god why do I have share this state with nutjobs.  If I can find a link of a letter to the editor from our local liberal rag that destroys this proclamation for what it is I will.

We have a saying around here: "At least it's not Oklahoma."

Well, I say that a lot anyway.

LMAO! How did I miss this hilarity until now?

LOL @ this comment to this blog post.

Quote
I heard the resolution started this way:

Whereas we don’t like President Obama for a host of reasons his race, voting record, and belief in rational thought being just a few; and

Whereas, we need something to pander to our intellectually deprived Christian Right constituency, which though shrinking, is still pretty vocal and connected; and

Whereas, we have the advantage of boundless stupidity and a complete absence of critical thinking which foster our ceaseless efforts at demagoguery;and

Now and be it resolved that we, the undersigned, have it on the best authority in the cosmos that the Country is going to Hell, and the devil made Obama do it.

Okay I'm really going to hell.  My grandmother just posted on her facebook wall about how much she loves Sally Kern and that Sally speaks for her.

Four not so nice comments later I feel a little guilty.  Basically I destroyed my own grandmother and Sally on her facebook wall.  Fun stuff.  But I couldn't really let that kind of hate-filled stupidity slide.  Of course all of her friends are god-fearing and god-fear-spreading "christians" so it should go over well.  I really shouldn't be allowed on sites like that anyway.
