Escalator rant

I'm rushing down an escalator to catch a train. A lady ahead of me decides to move from the stationary side (right) to the left side about 10 feet before she reaches the bottom. Trying not to be rude, I stop and patiently wait until she steps off and gets out of my way.

Train doors close literally 1 second before I get to the edge of the platform.

Just lost 15 minutes of my life waiting for the next train.

I'm not going to be patient next time.
