Waistline Poll
« on: September 24, 2009, 04:00:03 PM » |

So I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and realized that my suit pants no longer fit and had to buy new pants. I ended up buying pants with a waist size of 38! It's been a while since I've bought pants, and the last pair I bought were size 34. (I'll admit I wear pretty loose clothes as my sense of style is firmly stuck in the past*) Just curious about the folks on this site. No need to post anything if you want to remain anonymous, I just thought it might be an interesting poll. *

I picked 34.
I was 32 ever since I got out of high school, but the last few pairs of pants I have bought have been a little bigger.
Seems to depend on the drawws. Jeans(brand) v. Pants (Dockers) v. Shorts, etc.
However,
I think I am a pretty solid 34 now.

I would suspect that your size 34 is a generous 34, in which case I'd probably be about a 30 in US sizing

Normally a 36 but I put on some sympathy pregnancy weight for my wife and am now a 38. I roller coaster between the two sizes but it is hard to tell visually being 6' 4"so I carry my weight well. But the weight likes to collect in the love handle region since I have such a long waist.
