NE @ DEN Game Odds

Both teams are ranked similarly in total offense (#9 DEN vs. #8 NE), but the difference in total defense is a bit more significant (#2 DEN vs. #7 NE). In scoring defense, the margin is even greater--#1 DEN with 6.5 points per game vs. #9 NE with 17.8 points per game.

Denver pretty much owns Tom Brady (2-4 vs. Denver).

Home field is usually worth about 3 points.

Josh McNasty knows the NE offense inside and out.

Yet...

The Broncos are 3 point home dogs.

What am I missing here?

Year in year out the Pat's are winners the broncos er not so much. Dunno
