Alan Grayson called one of Bernanke's lady staffers a 'K Street *trollop*' (I'm assuming the staffer in question is a former financial industry lobbyist). Of course, everybody got all butthurt.

His apology:

“I offer my sincere apology. I did not intend to use a term that is often, and correctly, seen as disrespectful of women.”

ROFL. I'm voting for him twice next time.
