We had a real tree for about 20 years then it just became too big of a hassle to get one between work schedules, school activities bad weather and the like.  |

I'm no Joyce Kilmer, but I don't see the point in killing an innocent, adolescent tree so we can put up some electricity-wasting lights for almost a full month. So, I don't mind if my tree is fake.
And I have the same attitude when it comes to women's breasts.

We've had the same artificial tree for about 25 years. I figure we've saved around $1200 in that time.

Nine foot Fake from about 1986 to 2002. No tree since. Have saved about 20 hrs of set up and decorating each year since 2002. Have been some really stress free holidays during this time.

Fake, especially if you plan to visit family during the holidays. Nothing more anticlimactic than coming back to a yellow tree.
Let alone, apartment. Stairs. Lack of real living room space. You get the idea. Even our fake tree is rather skinny because of that.
Now, when we upgrade to anywhere with a significant livingroom, I'll rethink this whole "real" think.
