Just over 10" on the ground at our house with forecasts calling for at least that much more by Saturday morning. I can't remember the last time we've had a Christmas snow like this year. Merry Christmas 'hos!   |

We have enough to cover the grass and rain forecast for tonight. After living in Michigan the better part of 49 years if I never saw another flake I'd be good with that. I'm dreaming of a green Christmas....... |

We just slammed with about 10-12 inches in 8 hours while the winds were gusting 50 mph. Apparently, those are called "Blizzards". We have drifts of 3 feet by our cars and in front of our house. Extremely rare for OKC. All highways closed, so Oklahoma basically canceled our Christmas Eve family get together.

It's actually dry and (comparatively) warm here.

Merry Christmas Ho's! Niece is senior at Brown University. Original flight home 12/21 canceled due to weather. Airline rescheduled to yesterday. She got to Newark and the leg to Seattle was overbooked. They rescheduled to today. No word from sister or her as to whether or not she is in he air. They were planning to spend the day with us! Frigging freezing here and hummingbird feeders are frozen solid. Don't know what MFAWG is writing about! |
