The Blades have got a very balanced team, with no real big stars.  I don't think they've got anyone among the league scoring leaders.  They do however have a very big, physical defense, and their goaltending, especially Steven Stanford, is pretty strong.  We got Stanford in a mid-season trade with the Prince Albert Raiders, and since then he is 14-1 with a 1.96 GAA.

They Blades didn't place any members on Canada's entry in the World Juniors, but Jiri Niemi in on Finland's team.

No scorer in the top 10 is what I heard, and I believe it. They look like they win a lot of 1-0 and 2-1 games.

Boyer should help with the Oh-Fence,   There was a whole row of puck bunnies welcoming him back to Seattle, LOL... Devil

What impressed me was that they do NOT turn the puck over. In 120 minutes, I didn't see a neutral zone turnover on their part. They also ALWAYS passed to a target, very little dump and chase.

And when one of our guys touched the puck in their end, he was gonna get hit. Not dirty or sneaky, but hit.

That's gotta be the fourth or fifth reinvention of the team logo.  And the best one too.
