Workin' my ass off. Plus the one downside to this joint is being completely off-line.  I even asked if I could bring in my laptop with a wi-fi card. They all laughed, and then the supervisor gave me a stern "Uh, no. We got rid of the last guy that did that." No intergoogles while at work. *fudge* that. I'm spoiled. I need my 'Hos while I'm not paying attention the patient in the scanner. Actually scanning people and practicing patient care is boring as hell. Although, I don't need to be got rid of (again) so I'll have to suffer for now.  Yeah, already tried proxy servers off of their intranet. They're way ahead of me. *fudge*ers. |

Yeah pissin off the employer you traveled half way across the country to work is not a good career plan.  Especially since I porbably already have one foot into it with the heaters. They do go for that *feces* out here at all. But I'm workin' on quitting. Again. |

Think about that for a few minutes. Then go have a heater and cool off! |

Meh. Barely. Problem with radiology departments is they are so shielded, esp. in MRI. This place is even worse being in the lower level. It's teh sukk. Lucky if I get any signal at all. I have it with me, and will refresh for email now and then, but there is no way it will "surf".  |

Same thing I do here in the Peoples Republic Of Seattle: Remind people I'm paying for the sidewalk they're standing on at an exponentially greater rate than they are, and tell them to piss off while I finish standing in the farking rain to consume a product that's legally available to anyone over 18 at any grocery store in the country. I need a smoke. |

I do work with some pretty cool people though.
The one girl I work with said "I'm going to see Lionel Ritchie tonight." I said cool, have a great time. She asked what I was doing and I said I'm going to see the bottom of a lot of beer cans.
She actually "got it". I can't tell you how many times I've told that to other people in the past only to receive blank stares.
