I just read that!

My thought is this:

Beck is a little like Ann Coulter , just not as well hung. He has to keep dialing up the crazy to keep people tuning in. Coulter was able to do it  for several years because she  wrote one book a year and just reposted it in pieces in her column. Even at that, by 2007 or so she was reduced to bagging on 9-11 widows and everybody finally realized she was playing them, or just beneath contempt.

I don't think Beck will be able to hang on that long given the pressures of doing 4 or 5 hours of live broadcasting a day.

They (The GOP) are DEFINITELY worried about him and the Teabaggers splitting the vote in November, but they're also busy trying to convince everybody that the party hasn't actually moved SO far right that Reagan would be called RINO today.
