Neckcar question
« on: March 07, 2010, 11:52:28 AM »

Why does Tony Stewart race in the both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series? He's won no less than $5 million per season for the past 7 seasons on the Sprint/Nextel Cup Series, but he STILL races in the Nationwide Series?

Because he's a racer, as opposed to a guy who races cars for a living.

Straps on a late model at Eldora (which he owns) when his schedule allows. That would be the rough equivalent of Mickelboobs showing up at your Thursday night golf league just for the hell of it.

Cool.

Is Atlanta a restrictor plate race?  Or just a very fast track?

Fast track. Did the tire issues continue all day? That *feces* sucks. It wasn't just the exploding with no notice 2/3 of the way through a run, it was the slew of drivers having 'Vibration Issues' which are actually a manufacturing defect.

Time to look at 2 or 3 suppliers, just to keep BadYear *goshdarn* honest.

PS: People have been bitching about Cup drivers racing on Saturday Busch/Nationwide races for years. What do you expect them to do? Sit around all day Saturday doing jack *feces*? MOST of them are going to race if there's a race to be in, and good for them!

That said, they ARE sucking up prize money from guys who actually need it.
