Question for Pittsburghers (re: penguins)
« on: January 05, 2007, 12:36:19 PM »

I've been reading a few articles about the penguins saga from afar, but I was wondering what the inside story might be from some of the folks in or near Pittsburgh (Aske, Sal, maf...)

Are the Penguins likely to leave Pittsburgh or is it mainly a negotiating tactic to score a good deal with the city?

Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century.

Wow, that's higher than I thought.  Do people seem to care or would many be relieved to see them gone?

people will bitch and moan,  but they didnt bitch and moan enough to get  fox sports pittsburgh  on cable for a long time.   i doubt they'll do enough (aka cough it up from the pocket book)  to save the team.  especailly  when the bus route collapse hits this summer and they're spending fortunes more for their commutes
