Couple of beers. little sk8 action, and off to the WinCo after work.

Soooo, I'm the 3d or 4th guy back in the checkout, and the lady pays with a WIC voucher. They are a complete PITA for the checker, and always hold *feces* up while the checker figures out what's covered and what not.

Anywho, the *goshdarn* douchebag 60something in front of me says in a very loud, clear voice:

'Look at this! Soshulism is just ruining this country'.

Everybody sort of hems and haws, but do I do smart?

Oh, *fudge* no I don't.

I say in an even louder and clearer voice:

'Pissed that Medicare doesn't cover your Depends, are we?' (I mean, they were right there in the top of his cart and all).

Now he doesn't do smart. He makes a bunch of noise and says in summary:

'20 years, I'd have kicked your ass'.

He's a big guy and all, but I doubt it, towit:

'20 years ago, I was still in division. You couldn't have handled me then, either. Now buy your diapers and shut the *fudge* up'.

So he does, but he keeps looking back at me.

Of course he's parked 2 cars over in the parking lot. Are we through? Evidently not, because he starts in again. I couldn't really follow what he was saying, but the upshot was that I needed my ass kicked for being a librul and whatnot.

So I said:

'You go in your car and get any thing you want, and  come over and swing it at me. One free shot. If you come out with a gun, I'll make you eat it.'

He left.

I've just been at lunch for the past 4 hours, does that count?
