I remember talking about having the draft on a Sunday evening, so 2iron can make it.
So we've got 2 choices:
Sunday, August 28 Sunday, Sept 4
Any preferences between this Sunday or next?

Actually, I would prefer this Sunday, I already have a draft the following weekend.

OK, I just set the draft for this Sunday. Sun Aug 28 4:15pm PDT(6:15pm Central). (I don't think we actually have anyone on Eastern time in the league)
If this time is bad, please let me know ASAP. The next later available time is 7:30pm PDT.
I'll also send out this info through Yahoo.

Also would anyone prefer a 4 team playoff instead of 6 teams? The settings just carried over from last year.
6 teams in the playoffs made sense with a 10 person league, but seems like a lot for an 8 person league and would make the regular season less important.
Let me know if you have a preference or any thoughts on the matter.

So what are the differences from the current rules?
I see one point for long plays, points for big yardage days, negative points for missed FG/PAT, three and outs forced and points for defensive yards allowed.
Anyone favor/oppose these changes? We've only got one day till the draft, so let me know if you feel strongly either way. I'm not crazy about making last minute changes which could screw up someone's draft strategy that they've been perfecting for the last week with mock drafts/simulations. (i.e. ranking Tebow over Favre under the previously understood scoring)

Based on the lack of comments on either the playoff or scoring changes, I think we're going to have to discuss this in draft chatroom when everyone's together after the draft today.
