It's a job creation measure for lawyers, basically.

I suspect it's also window dressing for the mouthbreathers as they continue to wallow in 49th and 50th place in pretty much every 'Quality Of Life' statistic.

At least the voters are saner than the idiots who put amendment up for vote. The amendment didn't pass.

I think this was a dry run for next year: The GOP has to drive the 'Christians' to the polls with something, because they will not show up to vote for Romney. Abortion is even BETTER than TeH Ghey for this.

I'm not sure that not getting passed in Mississippi takes it off the table, but it doesn't help either. We'll see if they try to get a bunch of similar initiatives on the ballot next year in purple states like Colorado and North Carolina.
