After one year of dieting, I have lost..

..75 lbs and my golf swing.
I swear, the day I can't hit my 7 iron *at all* is a very sad day indeed. Somehow I managed to hit my 3w. So what's a girl to do?
Nope, not wearing a fat suit on the course. Shopping. I'll post when/if I end up buy a new irons set. It's like relearning the freakin game from scratch, I I'll "downgrade" to something more noobtastic. Wish me luck.

so if anyone wants to recommend a good GI iron set for someone in transition for another 6 months or so before buying another real set and getting down with practicing on it.... for under $200 or so.... we're listening to rEcos'

I heard Christina Kim lost her swing after losing weight, so she went back to being chunky. Since you don't need to earn a living swing the sticks, you're probably just going to have to live with your svelte self and worse swing.  Do you think your tempo is faster now? Maybe a higher swingweight or using steel shafts vs. graphite might help. Just spitballin'...  |

Hehe, yes, willingly chubbing up is not an option really! Now the fun part is that I was already using senior flex steel shafts. I might have a faster temp now but I also believe I 'm hitting harder than I perceive myself to do. Maybe reconstructing my swing back to the basics is in order. Meanwhile, I've been looking at some Callaway Razr clones hybrid/iron set by Diamond Tour Golf. The price is attractive though I'll have to live with pink clubs for a while. Go see a pro for a lesson and tell him or her your story they could help. After all Christie Kerr got better when she lost weight.
Congrats for the lost and having a healthier lifestyle, it is not easy.
