Every time I look at the main page, I see : Users, lurkers, spiders, and 1, or 2 members hiding.
What's that about? Is there a difference between the list at the bottom of the home page and the member list (sorted by online status)?

One of the hiders is the admin account since I mainly use that account for site administration and maintenance. I'll logon with it now to see how where it shows up.

Oh yeah, I made a change related to this yesterday. If someone has more than 1,000 posts, they now show up as grey in the "who's online" list and also the "who's online" page.
No real reason for it, just testing out the setting. Most sites that use this feature seem to put prolific posters in a bright color to make them stand out, but I thought it would be interesting to turn that on its head and make high post count folks show up in a fainter color.
I'll probably change it back so that everyone shows up as the same color again, I don't want it to end up like the users online list at golfdiscussions where there are so many colors it's hard to read.

I think by making them less obvious is a good thing,... who needs to know who all the 'post padders' are...
