What's a "transcendetal number"? A number that is not the solution to an polynomial equation, and thus are non-algebraic. They can be real, imaginary, irrational or complex but never rational.
That would be a transcendental number. |

That would be a transcendental number. So you are right! I have never heard of a "transcendetal number" and therefore mis-read the other question. However, upon never hearing of such a term, I can't help but wonder if it was a typo. |

By the way, upon a small search the air-speed of a European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second. However, I haven't found anything that has enough data to formulate the air-speed of an African Swallow.
