Early favorite to win it all--Melinda Doolittle. She's a professional session singer who usually sings background vocals.

I agree.  I liked it when Simon said "He (Sundance) would blow Taylor (Hicks) out of the ballpark."  That is quite a slap at Taylor Hicks who I think should be performing on Cruiseships and at retirement homes.

Yeah...that was a wierd cheap shot...I was surprised they didn't cut that out.
