LOL, sorry. Going to the casino in Hinkley, MN. Nice place. Hopefully make a couple of bucks, stay in the hotel, play in the pool. Then on day 2 we're headed up to Duluth, to see Savannah. We're staying at a hotel with an indoor water park. Lot's of fun.  Nothin' major, just a couple days away while school is out. Hinckley is such a nice little town! And the scenery is so beautiful. If you go down this one little road to go out of town there's a smiley face painted on a rock in the center of a lake. (Hmm, is it a lake or a pond? It's pretty big to be a pond, but on the other hand it dries up every now and then...) Duluth ain't all that bad either. Sounds like you'll be having a fun time.  |

[size = 13,000] [location: rock] [/location] [/size] Straightest way to get there from the Cities is 35 to Hinckley exit. Take a left @ top of exit. Follow road until you come to a "T" (or at least it was a "T" when we last took this way). There should be a gas station there. Take a right. Follow road around town (which should only take a few minutes). Road turns into old Highway 61 (I think). Head north (should be the only way you can go). You should come to Smiley Rock with in a few miles. It'll be on the right side of the road. |
