Nice.  I'd love to play a course like that.

Aske,

You might just run into me this summer at that course.  I've driven that far before to play less interesting courses.

I also like the vertical aspect of most PA courses.

I've played The Tribute down here and it is a copy of famous links holes from Scottland courses. It is a blast to play. I do love those type of courses because it is more in line with my style of play. I tend to play a bump and run if I can.

I love links courses!!!  They don't care much for me though.  I think I just hit a great shot,,, get to my ball and  Bangs Head I've got a downhill stance, and sidehill, downhill lie because some freakin designer decided 2 or 3 moguls would look good right here.  Other than that I love em!  especially those 5ft deep pot bunkers from hell.

Wow!!!  Tough question.  It's like asking, "What is your favorite copulation position?"

So I'd have to say I'd like to play a parkland links style desert mountain course.

I love a parkland course at 5:45 am and your first group out and birds are chirping and your all carrying. Here on Long Island you can play Bethpage Red at 5:15 am in the summer or the Black at 6:00am and it is a walkers dream.

I'd vote for parklands but those damn trees really get in my way. Disgusted  Grin

I've never played a links-style course. My kids loves those that he's played. We'll be in Tempe next month on a college visit so maybe I can squeeze in a desert round.
