Good luck on getting out -- lots of cold rain and slush here - even if the sun came out and warmed up to 45 the course wouldn't dry out for a while.

First round was January, 6.

I'm hoping to play this month (it will give 1 whole year playing at least once a month), but major thawing will have to take place.

Here in Connecticut we usually shoot for playing our first round on Good Friday.
With the weather this winter, we should be able to get out earlier this year Fingers Crossed
BTW, will there be a Wrestlemania thread?

Nine holes yesterday (Feb. 10th).  Half of SLC was out there and there was a 90 minute wait for a tee time.  It was worth it though.  The course was in surprisingly good condition overall.  Greens were in nice shape.  A bit soggy here and there but not bad.  Sand was wet concrete and, of course, I hit three bunkers.  Up and down once with the other two times needing an extra putt.  I was happy about that. 

44 with a penalty stroke after 70 days without swinging a club.  I'll take it.   Cool

Yesterday was not the best. 

If it makes you feel any better, the course was pretty soggy on Satuday.  Borderline shoulda been closed.  With 24 hours of non-stop, mild to moderate rain I suspect it'll be unplayable today.  Doesn't mean it won't be open.  You know how SLC is about opening its courses to the detriment of their condition.   Disgusted

I don't think I'd play Wingpointe today even with these lovely blue skies.

One week ago today it reached 70 degrees and I wasn't at work out of the blue.  I was the first one on the course.  It was a great first round of the year.
