Something easy to load with alot of which means a lighter flex and usually a lower bendpoint shaft.  I haven't seen your action or know anything about it but often Dynalite combo flex is a good option....it's real good in wedges too.

The video doesn't help?

I would say overall, SS is pretty low.  I hit the ball very high.  I would like to get it down, esp. in the the short irons.

Sorry...I haven't been hanging out...way too much werk to do.  Missed your video.  Are you clothed?

Shaft isn't going to bring down your flight...sounds like the clubhead is passing your hands.  I'd go something midflex then.....Rifle 4.0 trimmed to 4.5 or some such.

It played once for me then balked.....can't play.  Funky  photobucket maybe.

I'd need to see it again but it doesn't want to cooperate.  From what I did see, it didn't change my rec.

I would say overall, SS is pretty low.  I hit the ball very high.  I would like to get it down, esp. in the the short irons.

warning in advance, all of the following could easily ruing your swing/game, but I used to hit irons way too high, too inconsistent, and worked on the following swing changes  ... I had insane driver swing speed, 115ish  but way post parallel and inconsistent....   could never trust the swing with irons and had to overhaul, shorten, and slow down a bit.

you can get
ball flight down/same total distance (basically) while adding better contact

if you really want to do this,  work on 1/2 to 3/4 swings and focus on accelerating and 'pinching' the hell out of the ball with a nice delofted  impact position.  finish should be 3/4 high too    your weight should be almost totally on your left side at finish on the 3/4 swing.

if anything on this video.  your finish position is extremely long and indicative of a powerful high speed swing...  like tiger or michelle with driver ,  especially the part you strain at the end to make the shoulder turn even more.   it's great your so flexible,  but you dont swing hard enough (at least on this vid clip) to really need that turn through  imho... at least so it seems to my dumb eyes/experience

have you ever really watched vijay ?  inside 100-120 yards he never hits anything high at all (unless he has to go over a tree or something).   low spinning shots that check after 2-3 bounces ...  basically taking a hard pitch shot technique with whatever club will get him there.   in person i saw him hit a 1/2 PW that went about 110 yards, but never got more than 25-30 feet high  and it stopped on 1 hop   ... not like he swung out of his shoes... just solid technique, great contact, and great acceleration through and trapping of the ball @ impact

just my personal experience,  ymmv.

Thanks, bud.  I like what you said.  I agree.  The video is a little deceiving, as I'm truly not flexible, but have always worked on "finishing my swing", and staying in balance.  I will work on/the way the things/the technique you suggest. Cool

There's a difference between finishing your swing and working to finish your swing.  Smiley

If your follow-through would naturally finish shorter and/or elsewhere, but you're "forcing" it to a full finish ...

got your iron viddy to work.

Your overall action is smooth with easy acceleration on the downswing and fluidity though impact.  Everything points to a softer shaft. For wedges you could go with something like Rifle Spinner 4.5 or a Dynalite Gold R.  The softer tip will give you plenty of feel on partial shots.  I'm not a big fan of soft tip shafts in the full swing irons however...

Stroh, I deleted your PM with your address.  You can either re-send it, or I can just send the box out to:

LOL!  I bet you also threw away the birthday card I sent you.

Better not send it to the beer joint.  They may fear a shift in the trend. Wink

New PM sent.

Almost three weeks to "carelessly slap together a couple of wedges?"

Way too much workmanship. Devil

I was filling the shafts with "mojo", and my refractory period isn't what it used to be.

Is that what Dyno means by "poon?"
