The wife and I are having a "conversation"

I was just looking up the etymology of the word 'conversation' and it seems it was used as a synonym for '****ual intercourse' during the 1500's.

So when Sir Jagoff the Great said, "I'm going to have a conversation with Robert the Magnificent tonight." He wasn't talking about engaging in a dialogue.
