in a country that has spent half a trillion dollars building a nation in a foreign country, this should never happen. this might be the saddest thing i have ever read. Sad

What is even worse is I'm sure there are hundreds of stories like this that we never hear about.  It's absolutely disgusting.  This *feces* should never happen in a "civilized" country.

Totally agree that it is very tragic all the way around.  While the buracracy of the medicare system might be a big part to blame it amazes me that a simple toothbrush and tootpaste and the brushing of teeth might have prevented the entire problem from getting started.
