Worst Idol evar!  Even less talented than Studdard, and that ain't sayin' much.
Daughtry was clearly the winner of that show, and I'm guessing the conspiracy was to cut him loose early so he could succeed under less contract obligations.

Agreed. Daughtry was clearly better than Hicks.

I always thought Hicks looked like he was taking a dump when he did that little squat, make face thingie of his.

I have missed the past two weeks shows but my daughter is keeping me filled in with her take. Any budding stars this year in your opinion?

they're caught in the same rut they usually are.  all the real 'singing' talent exists in the least 'marketable' of the contestants.  the most 'marketable' have almost no talent. also, not that I like modern pop music, or even old pop music really, but almost none of the contestants has performed anything resembling contemporary music.  i doubt after the taylor fiasco they're going to 'let'  somebody like him win again.
