I believe that Mr. ButBackstageThingsWereFallingApart originally signed up with the name ButBackstageThingsWereFal, but changed his name to the longer version back when this site still allowed it.

Maybe he wasn't comfortable with the formality of this forum, and only his friends call him ButBackstageThingsWereFal. Don't Know

Oh, that's how it went. I thought he signed up with a long name, but the forum was set to truncate it down to a certain number of characters.
