Video game recommendations?
« on: October 23, 2006, 02:19:27 PM »

With Christmas coming up (and a certain relative of mine needs a golf-sim video game), does anyone have any recommendations?  It looks like 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07' is the one they're currently hyping.

Side note - is it just me, or does this pose look awkward?  http://www.gamespot.com/p...;img=73&sid=undefined

i have it, but havent gotten that much p.t. in it yet.

that said, it is as easy as ever ot build your character up. (about 6 hours pt and character at >50% in all attributes)

pluses:  the new game mode called :oneball   , gamebreakers removed, new courses, return to 'the predator' , speed play (disabling all the stupid animations/time wasters)

minuses: easy to build character, stupid lack of customizability in 'game face', failure to improve putting aspect

somehwere about 9-10 hours of  p.t. now

character at 80 attribute points (with full power, full spin, full putting, and full approach shots)
 Cool

gotta tank my team match in round 2 of the tiger-team challenge  so i can get my character in for round 3  (it's best of 3)

could use the last bit of attribute points
 Cool

They have not fixed the drop ball feature. they drop it right at the side of the hazard which makes the ball unplayable, more often than they should. Argh.
