That's not too bad.  A comparable meal and drinks at our place would have run you $61.10 before tip.

This might be thread-jacking.....

But tipping isn't a big thing here in Australia.....it is not expected.

Hospitality worker's, love American's as they always tip!!!

I'm not even going to open that can of worms here, but let's just say there are a few Americans who obviously have  adopted the down under philosophy of tipping.

Wish, I have to assume that wait staff is adequately compensated in Australia?

IIRC tipping isn't a big thing in Europe either.

It's the minimum "legislated" wage that must be paid... all things being equal.

For hospitality workers it's between $16 and $20 per hour

Am I correctly reading a total of ten beers, one soda, one appetizer, a little pizza and some chicken fingers?

STFU!!  Stick to being a lawyer and not an accountant Jackass.

Why don't you go away and don't come back here no more.

Well, actually I told him to go away and not come back two years after he went away and hasn't come back.  I did that because it's funny in the way Clive thinks things are funny and I was hoping that he didn't really go away and not come back but read that and come back by not going away.  Perhaps if I told him to go away and not come back before he went away and hasn't come back he may have never left and not come back.  Who knows, if he does come back and read this he may leave again and then really never come back.  Either way I stand by my post.

I think we should go with Baby Come Back.

It's worth a shot.
