Portable Apps

Anyone else using a thumbdrive to carry some portable apps? Mine has Firefox portable, Gimp portable, VLC Portable and Dropcloth. If for no other reason then to let me run them through my work computer without getting our ever so and under-appreciated Grin... IT staff.
