White SUV took off up shoulder. I should clarify here that this was no "I'm a tough-guy, and I'm going to kick his ass" move on my part. If he did get out and come at me, the last way I wanted to meet him was while I was straddling a 500-pound motorcycle with the engine still running. One push and the bike and I both go down, probably with my left leg under it. I shut it down to get the hell off of it before he got out and got to me. The mental soundtrack went something like, "*feces*! *feces*! *feces*! Get off the bike! Get off the bike! Get off the bike! *feces*!" |

The burn especially wasn't pretty.  |

Watching a WHL playoff webcast of the Tricities Americans and Seattle Thunderbirds from Kennewick, Wa. It's not a very good game (1-0 Seattle at 1st intermission), but The Americans have really, really cool sweaters:  |

Took my car into the body shop to get an estimate... came out to $1600 and some change including labor.
Got nudged by a raised excursion a few weeks back, their insurance is taking care of it. But if they had been driving a sedan, I probably would have drove off without exchanging info. Just because they had a raised truck with a grill guard, it dented in the entire backside of my trunk. lol. the price you pay.

Sipping coffee and watching Gtown-Ohio State.  Just finished checking the phone wiring in the house. (one of the phonejacks wasn't working). Luckily, I didn't have to crawl around under the house to fix it. Now about to move our router from the kitchen into the office. |

It's Sunday morning here. Georgia has gone for the day with her dad. Russell is at work, should be back soon. I've just stacked the dishwasher, and I have the Kraft Nabisco on tv. It's a beautiful day, and I have got a game of golf, happening this afternoon.  |

Just got back from a long bike ride. My ischium feels like TFT's must have after being sodomized by his mailbox. I'm trying to decide whether to put an ice pack on my ass or just drink some beer. Also arguing with Monte about whether my bike riding fatigue is a reasonable excuse for not giving him a walk. I'm losing.

Cooking kielbasa, peppers and onions. There's a nice loaf of artisan bread to go with it. There's also a half-gallon of freshly brewed ice tea handy.
