Sweet. Have fun and good luck on the round. haven't decided to brutalize myself from the blacks or take it easy from the blues Brutalize yourself. That way if the golf sucks you still get something out of it. |

well, it definitely showd like my 1st round of the year. horrible chipping/putting. tons of topped shots whenever I had a ball below or above feet front 9 brutal, turn ... put about 6-7 good holes together, then fell apart on 17-18 ... nonetheless, great to be out. didn't remember to recharge the batteries in the camera  50-50 ball from wilson plays great for $15. obviously doesnt spin as much as the prov1, but little easy 1/2 pitches stopped within about 10 feet of rollout with a GW. most interestingly, its decent long, but almost impossible to really slice or hook except with the worst of swings. |

here's an example of how bad it was ...
#16. short par 5 (about 480 on the scorecard... from the blue tees)
pipe a drive right down the center of the fairway over the 'mound' on the fly, getting some great roll out.
ball resting almost next to the 150 marker. 7 iron in hand, going for my approach. fat it a bit, about 20 yards short of the pin ... having had bad luck with my short game all day, i plan for the ball to release.... i try to play a simple pitch and almost get a flop shot out of it. still not on!
so .... yep, i missed the GIR. after finally chipping on, i left my 7 foot par putt short of the hole by about 6 "
