Fuzz, most of the time that I hear "pool" used in this fashion, there is some form of gambling involved (real or fake).  Are you using it in that sense or more generally (meaning that it's a contest with a prize)?

I guess I never equated "pool" with gambling because I've seen it used in both scenarios. Sorry for the confusion. Rest assured this is just a contest similar to March Madness. Nothing required but your team if you wish to play along.  Smiley

Yea!  That's what I was hoping for, but I didn't want to assume.  No apology was necessary, but thanks for offering one anyway. Smiley  I'll go pick my team now. Grin

Here is the prize breakdown:

Best 4-day team score:  One dozen Strata Ace balls and one dozen Top Flite XL's from our friend Seamus!

Worst 4-day team score: wishicouldhit's special "aussie food" package to console the loser. You rock wish!

Best Sunday round finish: One sleeve ProV1's (thanks Teed!)  This prize will be determined by the final round scores only of your teams.

Draw a name out of a hat, thanks for playing consolation: 2 sleeves Strata Ace balls (drawing conducted by my daughter  Grin)

Heh, I was trying to come up with a team that I would select if I was aiming for the worst possible score.  It's pretty tough with the requirement to get the total between 32-36.
