Yeah, those red light cameras really irritate me -- I think they cause more problems then they're worth.  (except to city coffers, of course )


The other one that bugs me is that all the driver guides, traffic school pamphlets, etc, say that following too closely is the number one cause of accidents.  And, yet, nobody gets pulled over for following too closely.  No, everyone gets pulled over for going a few miles over the speed limit -- because it's easier on the cops to sit there with a radar gun.  Bleah.  How is a speed trap contributing to public safety?
