Sounds good. Which do you prefer, one Return to Top link only at the bottom of the page or a link to the top placed in each individual post?

I prefer including it on every post. I'm always wanted to top-of-page and I'm very mouse oriented for some reason. Having it right in the neighborhood at all times suits me best.

It looks like the forum software had the "Return to Top" option available at the bottom of the page, so I just enabled that.
But I also just added a little "return to top" arrow button at the bottom right of each post. We'll see how that works. If it's too small, I'll just change it to text.
I'm torn on where the #top anchor should take you. The forum default put this at the first message on the page, but you miss out on the navigation buttons, so I moved the #top anchor to the very top of the page for the dilber mc theme, which is what most people are using and what guests see.
Folks using the other themes still have a #top anchor pointing to the first message on the page.

Sucks that suggestions get acted on here. I'm waiting for the suggestion for a lefties only swapshop, which would then be implemented before we even have a general swapshop. But I only know of one lefty on this board currently. |
