to stuff a 4.9l Cadi V8 (not the Northstar, because that doesn't have quite the junkyard panache that the 4.9 does) into a Fiero:

Of course, I read about a guy who stuffed a Cadi motor in a Citation, which is even funnier...

I knew a guy that put a 350 in a Chevete. It tore up the rear end when he stomped on it. Dip *feces* didn't change that.

Doing a little further reading, apparently the 4.9's (which are plentiful AND cheap) are finding their way into all sorts of things, and the advent of 'Import Drag Racing' means a fairly good assortment of muscled up transmission/differential assemblies are out there as well.

In FWD, I've always been curious about half shaft strength in some of those cars. I've seen legitimate 12 second Honda's without Nitrous...
