Man buys $8,000 worth of stamps to use forever

A guy walks into a post office and buys $8,000 worth of stamps.

Sounds like the start of something, but there's no punch line.

Someone walked into the post office in Camp Hill the other day and bought $8,000 worth of Forever Stamps.

Totally. He'd get as much a return on his investment in a savings account, and he wouldn't have to lug $8000 worth of stamps around. (Yeah, I actually ran the numbers. Now who's the moran? I guess it's me.)

I know the "rest of the story."

See, this guy made a bet with some guy named Professor over the Beagles and the playoffs.  He lost and had to send Professor a dozen Pro V1s.  Thing is, he wrapped them in so much packing tape the postage ran to $20,000.

LOL, but you should have seen the look on the old Professor's face when it showed up.

No kidding. Cheesy  I was going to put that I don't think I could use that many in a lifetime.  I think the most I've used is 20 over 7 months - but that was when I was writing a letter every other week.  And I don't think I've used 3 stamps since. lol
