It's a golf site because we golf, and it's a news site because we have Aske. Slow down Torp...that's twice this month you've mad me laugh, save some for the summer months. About time you got a sense of humor. I think it's the other way around.

LMAO This thread rocks! Welcome, PerfectAlias. Stick around, you might enjoy it here. Chimpy McFlightsuit! Karma +1 If you would have found GolfHos, instead, you would have found a Star Wars theme, that talks golf, while bashing Bush. Kind of the same, but you may still have been confused.

I found this site because I was looking for a purple monkey dishwasher.
Before I knew it somebody made me captain of a virtual Ryder Cup-like golf competition between TIT's and Foreskin's.
Which lead to my very first ever, men meeting men on teh internets golf date.
Weird huh?

I was just wondering.... is this just a website for people who like golfing to voice their opinions on golf and anything else in the news? If so, then why is the name of the sight and the different forums based on the story 1984? I joined this sight because I thought it was a place for people who enjoyed the concept of dystopian societies and the discovery of such novels and /or movies. Can the other members please fill me in? It would be much apprecoated. Please and thank you. I think everyone else has already done a good job of explaining that dystopia.com is a work-safe mirror for http://www.golfhos.com/As for real dystopian sites, I like http://www.newspeakdictionary.com/They've got a great forum at http://forums.newspeakdictionary.com/I also like this site, but it doesn't have a forum: http://hem.passagen.se/replikant/

We are all really just a bunch of nerds who are trying to sound cool dissin the "Chimp" as Aske says.
Except stroh, he is sort of the ex-jock who is trying to reconcile for all the times he beat up on us nerd types. He still doesn't have a clue about this internet thingy.
Live long and prosper.

You think you've been disappointed, I found this website while googling for "Grecian Agrarian Fesitivals" just an instant before my "go back one page" button failed.
