I'm not surprised they're suing.  America is the land of opportunity and this is one for his parents.

I am surprised that they have the gall to sue the tow truck driver and the guy who the tow truck driver was helping.  That approach is going to bring them nothing but scorn.

Long thread on a motorcycle board about it, with nearly everyone scorning Dram Shop liability, too.  Personal responsibility and all that.

Dean Hancock is an ass, his lawyer is an ass, and I hope they get reamed for frivolous and harassing litigation WRT the tow-truck operator and broken-down motorist.
