I had to reply to this thread.

It almost happened...I shot a 90 with 40 putts. Five 3 putts and one 4 putt, I've never had 40 putts for 18 holes or 4 putted in my life (that I can recall).  Disgusted

I retired the 47 inch putter the next day.  Devil

I had a five putt a few weeks ago.  Funny thing was I didn't even have a three putt on the other 17 holes and I think 3-4 one putts.

I 4 putted from 3 feet last year.

The 4th green at Maplewood has a little slope to it, and if you're above the hole when the pin's inthe right rear, bad things can happen.... Roll Eyes

The back 9 at North Shore has maybe 5 holes like that, a lil' (3 of them have a lot) of tilt, it's a known factor, you try to stay below the holes.  The things is, it seems more so lately, the pins themselves are placed in a sloped area, which is brutal, and I've been noticing it on other courses too, it's almost like the greens keepers are out to get us, that's it, it's a conspiracy it's not my putting a'tall!  Wink
