My boy started junior league today and just called to report his score.  Now, I'm gonna have to gently question him to see if it's on the up-and-up as he doesn't necessarily have a firm grasp of all the rules and tends to miscount his strokes here and there.  He's scored bona fide nines in the mid-50s with me before though.  If the 51 is legit it's his best nine ever.  He hasn't even been practicing this year and still only has something like seven clubs in his bag.  He's the anti-Ho.

I'm freaking out.  He's gonna be better than me before he gets hair on his goolies.   

Not sure which nine he played (my home course) but the specs off white are as follows.  It's no cupcake executive track that's for sure.

An even dozen.

My girl is in clinics and my pro likes her swing.  Not too sure how that'll pan out though.  She's more interested in nailing her back handspring.  I can usually get her out to the range or executive course with me but she loses interest fast.  At seven I guess that's pretty normal.

The boy has always had a beautiful move.  Even when he was four or five.  If he'd only commit to practicing/playing more.  His business though.  I'm not pushing even though it kills me to hold back.

Don't worry.  He won't be better than you.  He started golf way too late.
