Weekdays I like a bowl of Just Right with lite milk Grin

Weekends I like poached eggs on toast, with lots of salt and pepper.

Some low-fat or fat free cottage cheese with fruit, or a Cliff bar.  No coffee, just water.

Almost every morning - Special K w/ Red Berries with skim milk and a glass of OJ.

Isn't Special K for women??..

Don't know, but it tastes good.  But now that I think about, maybe that's why I'm getting man-boobs (or it could just be I'm old and fat).

1 cliff bar or 1 optima drink with light soy milk or life chocolate with soy milk or special k with chocolate, again with soy milk. I have found that the soy milk won't upset my stomach like dairy does..

Either a lite yogurt, (no sugar, no fat), or a couple of pieces of Whole wheat or Health Nut toast, (Arnold's, made by Brownberry, has no refined sugar or flour), and coffee. If I'm in a rush, a banana will tide me over for a few hours.

Not when I was in my twenties.

Special K
Damn does that bring back some memories, vague but good.

Usually, I just have peanut butter crackers and a Diet Coke.  Sometimes I go down to the cafe at work and have hashbrowns and eggs when I'm starving.  At home I'll either have oatmeal or a full on pancakes, bacon and eggs feast.

My breakfasts are as varied as the rest of my life.  I especially enjoy them in the summer, as I can take breakfast with my morning newspaper at any of several spots on the Blader Estate.

Last weeks preparations

Mon:  poached eggs with roasted asparagus, prosciutto and chive oil; vegetable juice (dash of fresh ground pepper), water, coffee; shade table in rose garden

Tues:  parsley-crouton omelets with gruyere; mango juice and tea; on the pool deck

Wedn:egg noodle, charde and fontina torte; orange juice, coffee; in kitchen (it was raining)

Thurs: creamy maple polenta; milk and coffee; breakfast room

Fri:  mascarpone, ham and asparagus tart; in kitchen (running late)

Sat: bagel, smoked salmon, capers and lemon; grapefruit juice and coffee; by the pool

Sun: A banana and an apple, grabbed at the Golfhouse Grill and devoured whilst chasing my tee shot down the first fairway.

Usually oatmeal, a piece of fruit, and coffee. Today I was running late so I ate a granola bar, banana, and coffee.

Blader -- your menu is making me drool.  Yum!  I wouldn't mind borrowing your chef (or at least your grocery shopper) for a week!   Grin

Breakfast this morning was two bowls of Puffins (a 'health' cereal).
Yesterday it was a peach, an apricot, and a handful of nuts.

I've been enjoying a mug full of plain yogurt mixed with either jam or maple syrup on my drive into work lately.  Though it can be a bit of challenge not to spill any in my lap!   Embarrassed

I'm sorry, Consuela is not for hire.  And to be honest, most find her a bit petulant. She almost got into a fist fight in the Whole Foods produce section the other night.

oatmeal.  My grandmother spoiled me as a child.  She'd add sugar and chocolate chips and a dash of salt.  Then pour half and half on it.  Yummy. Cheesy
