As a matter of fact I do. Not a lot though.

Being in the industry I can see this happening in a few places. The third party fabs, or "foundries" are growing all over Asia. Their focus is solely on chipmaking.

It's getting extremely expensive to build the fabs and buy the equipment to make chips. Texas Instruments is also being rumored to have looked at out-sourcing all their chipmaking and focus on design.
