lol. The one here opened about 6 weeks ago and a bunch of asshats were sleeping out in tents on the sidewalk for the grand opening.

I've been to the one in Burbank and it was pretty cool. Haven't gone to the one here yet, waiting for the crowds to die down. From what I understand, I'll be waiting quite a while.

A half-dozen years or so ago, people in SLC drove 6-7 hours to Vegas and waited in line for their Krispy Kreme grand opening.  We're completely *goshdarn* retarded around here when it comes to being "first".

Going to IKEA sounds a bit like shopping.  I'll have to give it a pass.

They do know how to launch a store, though.  We had two ikeas open around here in the last few years and traffic was messed up for miles from all the shoppers.
