Inspired by the thread in the equipment section as well as the Black Friday thread, I'm wondering what interesting non-golf purchases or acquisitions are on the horizon.

Maybe stuff you'll be buying yourself or hinting to relatives to buy for you for the holidays or even stuff you might be lusting after.

Here's some of the things on my non-golf horizon:
- X-men 3 dvd
- V for Vendetta dvd
- rear surround speakers (we just moved and I miss the 4 surround speakers I put in-wall in our old house)


Distant horizon:
- DVR
- maybe a Nintendo Wii?
