G20 Summit here this week

The G20 Summit begins here this weekend.

Traffic restrictions come into force in parts of the Melbourne CBD tonight, as police step up their planning for the G20 Summit.

Expect to see all of the "Ferrals" and "Tree Huggers" out in force, plus the usual "Rent-A-Mob".

The immediate area around the Hotel where it's being held has been turned into a "No Parking" zone. Their main concern is car bombs.  I'm sorry but who'd bother. At best you'll have a few eggs thrown, and maybe a cream pie, or some flares, but that's about the extent of it.

Public Money well spent I say.
